America's most popular boxer, Oscar De La Hoya, has one bout left in his career, in December -- but he doesn't know who he'll fight.De La Hoya told ESPN.com that he knows he will fight one more time, on December 6, before retiring. But he still needs to find an opponent, after Floyd Mayweather and Ricky Hatton -- the two fighters who could generate the most pay-per-view buys -- both turned him down. The next-best choice would be Miguel Cotto, although he still has a tough fight against Antonio Margarito on July 26 before he can plan anything beyond that.
One way or another, De La Hoya says he's confident he's going to put on a great show in his farewell fight. But it takes two to make a great boxing match, and De La Hoya, for all his business acumen, so far hasn't managed to get a good opponent to sign on the dotted line.
