Manny Pacquiao provided the most dominant showing of his incredible boxing career Saturday night, giving Ricky Hatton a brutal beating in the first round before knocking him out cold in the second.
Pacquiao came out on fire with lightning fast punches, absolutely annihilating Hatton, who looked like he had no idea what hit him. Hatton went down twice in the first round, and FanHouse scored it a 10-7 round for Pacquiao.
And although Hatton showed great courage in coming back in the second round and continuing to fight, Pacquiao savaged him with just seconds remaining in the second, knocking him out cold and leaving him flat on his back. The fight ended 2 minutes, 59 seconds into the second round. After taking some time to recover, Hatton got up and did not appear to be seriously injured.
"That was my strategy, left hook and right hook, that was going to be the key to this fight," Pacquiao said in the ring afterward. "I expected my right hook to be dangerous for him."
Pacquiao showed against Hatton that he is the most dangerous man in boxing. He's the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, and right now -- even though Floyd Mayweather is back -- there's no question about that.

he destroyed him wow
ANOTHER BS FIGHT WITH A LOT OF BUILD-UP AND LITTLE DELIVERY! ANYBODY THAT BELIEVES THIS IS BOXING IS VERY NAIVE! WELL, I GUESS WE ARE MOVING CLOSER TO ANOTHER BIG PAYDAY WITH FLOYD MAYWEATHER COMING BACK! ALREADY THE HYPE IS IN THE LAST LINE OF THIS ARTICLE! WHAT A BUNCH OF CROCK!
Wow, effin dominated in the first round, then destroyed in the second round! I actually feel sorry for Hatton, but sorry, Pacquiao was sure to win!
Pacman's a beast!!!
like i said in a previous thread hatton is a c grade fighter, great white hype, slow as hell and a sloppy fighter with no balance, everyone should have known he was going down quick boxings paper champion. now floyd jr will taste the canvas also.
I bet you was one of those fools talking all that Margarito bull$hit until the Sugar Shane gave him a beat down. Money Mayweather WILL beat Pacquiao.
mm3rdeye...you don't know what you're talking about. PacMan would do the same thing to your "Money" (I'm coming out of retirement cause I'm running out of it) Mayweather that he did to Hatton. He will absolutely destroy, demolish, annihilate and devastate him as well. Manny's at the top of his game right now...nobody can touch him, or even come close. He's in the driver's seat...how much you bet PacMan will be the favorite IF they meet. I say IF because Mayweather will be making a big mistake if tries to look past Marquez. All I can say is Manny is a friggin beast...it was no contest, like watching a pit bull against a chihuahua. Unbelievable!
mayweather jr. will face pacman because he owes the IRS $6 million. he'll sacrifice his body so he won't go to jail...
If you paid for this fight you're a real sucker! Hatton NEVER had a chance. Floydd won't either.
Pacquaio is unstoppable.
Yeah, good thing I didn't order it. I was going to but my cable kept giving me problem all day. Woohooo, kudos to Manny. I do feel sorry for Rickey a lil. He didn't stand the chance.
HATTON WAS TAILOR MADE FOR MANNY BUT STILL...THAT IS BY FAR THE BEST MANNY HAS LOOKED...BRING ON FLOYD, IT WOULD BE A GREAT FIGHT
Watched it on PPV. It was pretty funny. Thousands of drunkened Englishman singing in unison (like only they can do). Suddenly POW. Little Ricky got hit so hard his brother fell over. He was asleep on the canvas longer than he slept on the plane on the way over.
NOW I WANT TO SEE THAT S#@% TALKING MAYWEATHER FACE PACQUIAO, THAT IS IF HE'S MAN ENOUGH WHICH I DOUBT.
Hey Floyd Mayweather Sr. I don't hear you talking, did Pacquaio punch knock you out also? Go Pacquaio, time to take on Mayweather Jr.
Mayweather Sr. where was he after the fight? the media should interviw him, maybe he will say, there was a foul play :-) Actually Manny did not want to KO Hatton, but bcoz their mouth is to big, Manny have to keep it quite and there you are POW #%$^. Poor british don't even know what hit him. Sr, you better teach your jr now, otherwise another black face will drop in the canvas
here's a nice poem for mayweather sr:
mayweather sr. went home as fast as he can,
so he can hide his son away from pacman...
Pacman has proven his worth through actions and Freddie Roach who is his brilliant trainer... i fell sorry for hatton who can even defend himself but to clinch and to floyd mayweather sr. now you know that Freddie Roach is "NO" joke coach. i think you are the joke coach mr. mayweather sr. you better shut up and use your brain in training a fighter not your foul mouth. and dont ever try asking for a rematch. bwahahahahaha
LoL This was Funn-E ROFL
pac is the man..... mayweather go home, must of ran out of money
both floyds just shat themselves after watching the 'aitalian stallion' drop in 2 rounds. 2 f*king rounds
