Exodus Tyson, Mike Tyson's Baby Daughter, Dies in Treadmill Accident

Four-year-old Exodus Tyson, Mike Tyson's daughter, died Tuesday of injuries suffered in a treadmill accident at her home in Phoenix.

CNN reports that Exodus Tyson was pronounced dead at 11:45 AM on Tuesday, a day after she was strangled by a cord connected to the treadmill in her home in Phoenix. Exodus was found on the treadmill by her 7-year-old brother. Their mother attempted to perform CPR, but Exodus had to be placed on life support.

Sgt. Andy Hill of the Phoenix Police Department told CNN,"We believe the child was on the treadmill but it was not running at the time. She might have been playing like it was."

The following statement was released by the family:

"The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time."

Mike Tyson was in Las Vegas for UFC 98 over the weekend and traveled to Phoenix to be with his daughter Monday.
