Many believe that Miguel Cotto will be the strongest, fastest, and most importantly, best opponent Manny Pacquaio has faced as of late, and at last week's Yankee Stadium press conference to promote the Nov. 14 fight, Cotto sounded extremely confident he will be able to snap Pacquiao's recent winning streak.FanHouse spoke to the Puerto Rican fighter about the biggest fight of his young career and what he needs to do defeat Pacquaio. Cotto is a great fighter and is naturally bigger than Pacquiao, but lacks the speed & footwork to go toe to toe. Pacman with his footwork & speed will stick & move in & out to avoid cotto's power shots as he did with Diaz & Hatton. Cotto's defense & chin haven't really been tested and with Pacquiao developing a more potent right hand, to go with his established left hooks, Pacman should prevail.

Cotto should win. If he uses is jab and does not let pacman in the inside he will win. Combos to the head mostly because pacman is a small boxer. Cotto has to move side to side and throw right hooks and uppers cuts.It should be enough to defeat Pacman. Pacman will come ready for Cotto's left hand so Cotto should come with his right hand.

Fans of boxing, this will truly be a great boxing match, the fighters involve have proven themself to be worthy of being truly warriors in the ring. The come to fight and give the boxing sport their best. They come to fight, give it all, and don't run away to pick a punch. They are forward boxer, both with natural skills and God given strenght. Each has their weekness or disadvantage as well. Paquio has come from the bottom an seems to have conquer the junior and juniorwelter weights and is moving forward to welter weight and now has a truly welter weight to prove himself to be the number one pound-for-pound boxer. Cotto is also a great fighter and has prove it through out his carrer. His only lost could be questionable, his fight with Clottie was not to fashionable but he could have stop fighting and called it a night and still win, but he chose to continue with that big gash in his eyes which made him vulnerable, Clottie could not KO Cotto, complained through out the fight and didn't do enought to win. Paquio has the speed and desire, Cotto has the power and strenght. May the best Men win. Personally, would like to see Cotto pull it off, but does he still has the heart and desire, I'm not sure.
