Elie Seckbach, the Embedded Correspondent, brings his exclusive video reporting to FanHouse. Check back regularly for more videos. Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are considered by many to be the top two fighters in the world. Each could own the 'best pound-for-pound boxer' title based on their past performances.
In this video we ask fighters, fans, managers and ring girls who they think would win if the two superstars got into the ring to face each other. One thing is for sure -- everyone has a different opinion.
Check out the video after the jump.

Unlike PBF, Pacquiao never dodge an opponent. In fact, he keeps on looking for the best, as if to prove to all that he's the worthiest.
Defying all boxing odds and never feigns moving up in weight... division after division... never minding weight advantages posed before him.
His Mindset perhaps, could be the imposing difference if and when the Pacquiao - Mayweather fight becomes a reality, and that is his ultra confidence in himself.
" I will not loose " attitude will carry him to victory over Floyd. For why?
Floyd was never the same fighter he once was after his boxing prowess was exposed when he almost lost his fight with Zab Judah. If a Zab can hit him like banging church bells, what is there to expect when he face the likes of Cotto or Mosley?
For after that Juddah fight, he'd rather take on a punch ticket DLH and a smaller Hatton. Then retires, then, came back handpicking a fighter 2 divisions lower than his. Talk about confidence and self preservation!
Pacquiao will dissect him and expose his true worth from his self proclaimned pretensions.
Pacquiao's signature wins in challenging then World Champion hard hitters like Chatchai Sasakul, Ledwaba, Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Diaz, the Golden Boy and the Hitman are but testimonials that he has what it takes to bring home the bacon from real bangers. May it be heavy hitters or crafty fighters, the Pacman always have an answer... Unparalelled warrior's Heart!
What's the use of being bigger if one can't even find its mark? You can't hit what you can't see!
The scary thing here is... the Pacman packs with blinding jabs and can follow 'em up with up to 3, 4 or even 5 blistering hits with milisecond intervals between 'em! His newly developed right hook provides problem with utter confusion amongst recent Pacman bigtime victims.
Manny is not small… he’s not even a bloated welterweight by Nov. 14… He is, in reality…
an EVOLUTION MAN!
Unlike most, the Pacman EVOLVES as a boxer. To prove and emphasize, when he suffered his first loss at the hands of Torrecampo in 1996 @ 106 lbs, he jumped to 112 and actually won 15 of his next 16 fights via Knock Out, a streak that includes his WBC World Flyweight Champoinship KO win over Chatchai Sasakul. What a way to move up in weight!
During his second World Flyweight title defense against Medgoen Singsorat of Thailand, he struggled and opted to campaign next at 2 divisions higher, the super Bantamweights. He felt good and relaxed at the division as he demolished all of his next 12 opponents in grand fashion ( all by KO ), a resume’ that includes Lehlohonolo Ledwaba on whos hands, he wrested the super Bantam World crown… never relinquishing it ( defending his title 5 times ) before opting to jump again a notch higher (Featherweight division ), to face Golden Boy Prod. superstar, Marco Antonio Barrera for the Ring Magazine diadem.
By bringing up his weight again, he made the legendary Barrera look like an amateur. All of Mexico mourned for their vanquished national hero… a hundred days even! As the Pacman moves up in weight… so does his weaponry. It is something like that of the Rambo thing… As Stallone goes up to the next level of enemy line, his strength becomes more complicated and dangerous.
Perhaps, the reason why the director chose Stallone’s character as Rambo is that, he only knew it too well that it just wouldn’t apply to a Rocky Balboa thing. As the well accepted Boxing principle goes… “ When a boxer increase in weight, the more danger it pose for him! Well… it doesn’t seem hold true in Pacquiao’s case ‘coz as a boxer, he actually evolves! A distinction not available to most.
… talk about defying applied principles of Newton and Darwin!
Talk about reality… here’s one for the books… Would you believe if I tell you that Manny in reality is a Left and Right hander at the same time. In Boxing, he’s a Southpaw ( Left hander ). But outside it, he plays dart, he eats, shoot the hoop, hit the pool table and writes with his Right hand all along.
Freddy Roach must have noticed this and perhaps, could be the reason why he started to experiment and then develop Manny's Right hand. Not from his Left to his Right... but BOTH the left and the right.... point 2d east and point 2d west…
Wow! That indeed is a scary among foes. Imagine, having to fight an opponent with TWO lethal weapons instead of the usual fighter having just ONE! Others have either the left OR the right...
but never AND! ( both the left AND the right )… Darn… I would turn nuts trying to figure it all out!
I wouldn’t have chosen to be in PBF's assignment table.
Floyd only knows it too well… what situation he is into
I would like to believe he'll prepare like hell... if and when he finally decided to take on Pacquiao... something like... the manner of parrying plates and drinking glasses being thrown at you by your wife upon knowing that you’ve got another girl!

Sorry guys if I offended some of you. Mine was just an opinion on what would be the outcome of this fight and my points why.
I'm just stating that Floyd to my mind is someone whoose not any more too sure of his own capability against top rated boxers after his Judah match.
I could be wrong, but who can really tell...
Think the only way to find this out is for them to actually bring it on.
My question here is... will Floyd engage? I'm sure Manny will.
Thanks for the reation guys.

I would have to go with Manny. The reason being is that Manny has tremendous heart and his skills are incredible. Mayweather is one of the greatest fighters I have ever seen but it is Manny's heart that will give him the victory and also, IMO I think Manny is a smarter fighter. This will be like a boxing chess match. Both fighters are smart fighters but I really believe that Manny has a better end game. Checkmate.

I don't see anyone commenting on Manny's upcoming bout with Cotto. Do you all think he will just blow through Cotto?

@ Hey Phillyslugga:
Former two-division world champion Gerry Peñalosa in whose gym Pacquiao trained on Monday after driving down from Baguio City said “its hard because if Pacquiao only had speed it would be okay but he’s got speed and power and Cotto will need a miracle.”

To understand Floyd Mayweather is to understand the history of boxing. Professional boxing has always had this confusion of wether it is a sport or just entertainment. Many fighters approached it like a sport and had no concerns with the business side of the game, thus leading the way to the era of the broke and damaged goods ex-fighter. Floyds business is himself literally. He has to protect his own interest and see to it that he's not going to end up broke or with brain damage with nothing to show for it. Thats where the trash talking and the showmanship comes in. No matter how good you are you have to sell a fight, this has been since the beginning of purse fighting and now with the pay per view era. With all that said, Floyd Mayweather is a historian of the fight game who happened to be born a prodigy also. If you dont like the way he fights then you could never truly understand the history of boxing. Play close attention, and you'll understand what a boxing clinic looks like. I mean the term OUT CLASS an opponent is often associated with boxing, but in this era, Floyd Mayweather is one of only a few fighters this term truly fits. Boxing, brawling or whatever style you like,if you consistently out-class your opponents including the likes of hall of famers and former gold olympians, people never understand that they are watching greatness. Stop looking for the knock-out and pay attention to the way it's taught because, Pacquiao, Cotto, or whoever you bring, Floyd has seen it before and he surely knows how to handle them.

sorry to say this... but this kind of mentality is the very reason why UFC keeps on lurking around boxing now a days and that's the truth... boxing need matches that people wanted to see. The likes of a Mayweather who avoids a mega-fight will eventually kill boxing as a premier full contact sport.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I hate Mayweather. The man has ZERO class - period. I don`t think I`ve ever seen anyone in all of sports with a bigger ego. He makes me want to throw up every time I hear him speak. Pacquiao, on the other hand, is the polar opposite. Humble, soft-spoken; an everyman`s fighter. However, there is no denying Mayweather`s skill. The man is a boxing robot. He is really boring to watch - he isn`t a slugger, rarely gets emotional, and is never fighting against adversity. His punch stats are mind-boggling, both offensively and defensively. As much as I would LOVE to see Pacquiao (or anyone, for that matter) beat him so hard his kids feel it, it will not happen. Pacquiao is great, but Floyd is in a league of his own.

Money will beat Pacman. Do you remember vasquez one and two....Manny will get hit, often and hard. Money knows how to defend, he doesnt get hit. When Pacman uses the one, two...jab straight left, he will be countered and tagged. Money will win in about 8 rounds.

LETS SEE....MANNY FOUGHT JUAN MM TWICE. THE FIRST FIGHT WAS A DRAW BUT WE ALL KNOW JUAN WON, THE SECOND FIGHT MANNY WON BY 1 POINT BECAUSE OF A 1/2 SHOT-1/2 SLIP AND THAT RULE HAS TO CHANGE BECAUSE ITS NOT A TRUE MEASURE OF A ROUND, I COULD KNOCK YOU AROUND SENSE;LESS FOR 2.50 MINUTES THEN YOU THROW A PUNCH-I DUCK AND FALL, THEN GET UP AND CONTINUE TO SMACK YOU AROUND FOR ANOTHER 35 SECONDS...YOU WIN THE ROUND ?? ANYWAY I THOUGHT JUAN MM WON THE SECOND FIGHT TOO- NOW MONEY MADE A GUY WHO BEAT MANNY TWICE LOOK LIKE A SCHOOL KID ? WHO WOULD WIN ?

If we are here to compare performances against common opponents this I have to ask of you... How would you then assess Pacquiao and Mayweather's performances against Hatton and dela Hoya? Would that still give you the same impression of the outcome of a May - Pac encounter?
Just asking...

O.K. Jing Tapia. just based on lineage alone Mayweather is considered the best fighter in his era. Mayweather beat Dela Hoya who truly beat Trinidad. Shane Mosely had two very close fights with Dela Hoya in wich neither can claim dominance. But the thing is Mosely admitted his use of perfomance enhancers prior to the Dea Hoya bouts. Then Dela Hoya trashed Mayorga who beat Vernon Forrest two times including a K.O. and Forrest destroyed Mosely twice. Judah's a complete idiot who kept on coming at Mayweather with absolutely no affect. then he lost it because he realized that even though he had just as much speed and what he thought was more power, he had never dealt with a fighter of Mayweathers capacity. the difference between Mayweather and Cotto was that Judah approached both fights the same but he was whipped completely by one fighter who made him look amateur, and he was out brawled by Cotto. Mayweather also tightened up Marquez in the same manner, while it was more of a struggle for Pacquio. Be aware of the fighters who constantly change weight classes dramatically because a lot of times its just away to avoid the fighters ahead of you, while at the same time you look heroic. and buy the way, the governing bodies of each title would have stripped him along time a go for not fighting the best.
