Japan's Daisuke Naito defended his WBC flyweight championship belt Wednesday with a 10th-round TKO, stopping Tomonobu Shimizu with this incredible flurry:

Naito, who is Ring Magazine's No. 2 ranked flyweight in the world, improved to 33-2 with 21 knockouts.

HBO has done something really smart in promoting Saturday night's Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito fight on pay-per-view: It posted the full Countdown to Cotto-Margarito video on YouTube:

The fight should be a great one, and HBO's Countdown series is always excellent. HBO was smart to put this video online, and I think it will convince more than a few people to buy the pay-per-view broadcast.

For the uninitiated, chess boxing is exactly what it sounds like -- half chess, half boxing, alternating playing chess for a few minutes with boxing for a few minutes, with matches ending by a checkmate or a knockout. The sport's governing body is the World Chess Boxing Organization.
